    When Safety Zone House Sitting Service, the small company Charlie Mahggls used while traveling for business was put on the market, he purchased it as a matter of convenience for himself and his employees.  Safety Zone’s reputation for reliability and quality spread quickly through employee’s families, friends and the corporation’s many vendors.  The demand for Safety Zone’s services grew beyond all expectations.

The Problem

As Safety Zone House Sitting Service’s reputation grew, billing was becoming more and more of a headache.  Charlie needed a way to make billing - and bill payment – simple and cost efficient.  

Our Unique and Rapidly Implemented Solution

An Internet-based billing system was developed in less than three weeks using a combination of our NetMail™, E-Confirmä, NetPay™, and StatementVIEW™ services.

Once a month, Safety Zone House Sitting Service submits a data file that includes the names and email addresses of those to be billed, the dates of service, and the balances due.  From this file we create a NetMail broadcast email that goes to every name on the file alerting them that a balance is due.  E-Confirm sends back an automatic signal as soon as the email is opened, allowing the billing department to track who has actually opened their email.

By clicking on a unique hyperlink embedded in the email, the recipient is presented with the NetPay screen.  Listed on the screen is the payer’s name and address, account number, new balance, and payment due date.  The client simply chooses the credit card type to be used, fills in their credit card number, expiration date, and amount to be paid.  Then, by clicking “Pay Bill,” their invoice is paid and a transaction receipt is automatically generated.  

By clicking the link at the top or bottom of the NetPay screen, the client can view their statement online via StatementVIEW.  If they would rather pay their bill by mail, they can print out their statement and include it with their check, or print it out for their records.
