ZDI Successfully Completes SAS 70 Audit
February, 2009 – ZDI is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed an independent SAS 70 Audit of its document processing, internal operations, data and physical security and Internet data interface and distribution controls. SAS 70 (Statement on Auditing Standard) No. 70 was developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and provides the professional standards that auditors use to assess a company’s internal controls. ZDI’s SAS 70 covered fifteen control objectives in such areas as information and communication systems, monitoring practices, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), risk assessment, controls environment and physical and data security.
ZDI’s SAS 70 was issued as of January 1, 2009 by Schramm & Associates, CPAs, a leading SAS 70 audit organization who reviewed ZDI’s processes and controls from March 2008 through December 2008.
